Create users, PINs, locations and roles

Steps

1. Go to User Management → Users → Create New User and enter the first and last name.
2. Enter an email. It's only a login username, such as [email protected], so it doesn't need to be a real inbox.
3. A password is generated for you. Change it before you hand over the account.
4. After saving you'll see a login PIN, which the cashier uses to sign in to the POS.
5. Assign a location (Main Store for now).
6. Under Roles & Permissions, edit a role or create a new one and untick what it shouldn't access.

1. 0:03When you're ready to add staff, you create users here.

10. 1:27Next, assign the user a location. For now, all your cashiers will be at Main Store.
11. 1:39If you open another location later, say in Colombo, assign each person to the location they work at.
12. 1:51To change what a user can do, edit one of the existing roles or create a new one.
13. 2:05Give the role a name, then untick the permissions it shouldn't have.
